One day when I was strolling around SM North Edsa, I found this newly-established tea shop called Gong Cha at The Sky Garden. Being a huge fan of milk teas, I definitely tried one of their specialties and found love. XD I've already tried three milk teas from their menu: (1) Taro Milk Tea with Egg Pudding (Php 100.00); (2) Earl Grey Milk Tea with Pearls (Php100.00); and the third which was bought just an hour ago is (3) Toffee Milk Tea (Php75.00). I totally love their beverages! :D One can really tell how fresh the ingredients are. Find out more about Gong Cha Philippines and try one for yourself!

Gong Cha sets the highest standards when choosing tea materials, and takes the utmost attitude in quality control in order to provide the best tea available with considerate services to our customers....Every beverage is tailored for the customers and is made by our well-trained people (Gong Cha PH, 2011).

Just so you know, this isn't a paid ad. :)

The Splash Corporation General Assembly

It's a rare thing for small-scale school orgs to perform in front of well-established corporations like Splash. Fortunately, we, the UP Manila Biorhythm, were invited to partake in the occasion. We practiced for almost 2 weeks for this occasion; day and night we sang our hearts out in preparation for this event and I guess it was a successful gig! :D

I even saw a former Montessorian (my high school), 3 years older than me, who is now working for Splash Corporation! It was unexpected. She took a picture of us singing, and look, the videocam focused on me for a moment. See the white background and that big face over there? That's me. XD

It was an awesome experience! It made us realize one important thing -- we're not just college students but performing artists as well. As our President had said:

After that event, I felt how great it is to perform and sing because I love to. It's only the rough start of the school year but we get to sing in major events like this already (e.g., our gig in Robinson's Place Manila). I shall anticipate more for the coming months! Long live UP Manila Biorhythm! :)

Bonding with Tricia!

It was a rainy Sunday bonding with my cousin who came all the way from Saipan! My cousin's name is Tricia and our last meeting was six years ago. Yes, we definitely grew up away from each other but this cousin of mine surely is close to me for unknown reasons. We just jive on whatever we talk about, I guess! :D Talk about blood being thick. ;) Trying to kill time on our way to Manila Ocean Park, here's a picture of the view from the window while rain poured down like cats and dogs.

We had Tokyo Tokyo for lunch! Nomnom.

Then we headed to MOP. It was my second time there but decided to accompany her that day. We strolled around and took pictures together. I still find ocean park great for family bonding! It's too crowded as always though. There are a lot of lines waiting for you, either for ticket buying, entering the park, or waiting for your turn to get your feet treated in the Fish Spa. Here's our picture after entering the Manila Ocean Park. YES, I know right it doesn't show the ocean but rather a place with terrestrial plants, but after that portion, we get to see the aquarium! XD

Anyways, we had the chance to experience the Glass Bottom Boat Ride. IMO, it's 65% okay if I were to rate it. It needs to be developed, and I hope the admin would work on that; nevertheless, it's a fun way to get a much closer look at different species of fish under the sea! :D It is best for appreciation of marine life. ^-^

Before ending the trip, we ate at UCC Cafe. She bought French Toast and Mango Juice while I bought a cake (forgot the name, but they told me it's their latest cake addition) and Irish Choco Cream Cooler. I'm very much into coffee y'know!

FUN DAY IT WAS! I hope to get more bondings with my cousins. I definitely needed this break away from Acads! It sure keeps me sane. :D

Jabbed Lips

Yes, people, I jabbed my lips on Thursday night while riding the jeepney. I didn't know how and why it happened. LOL! All I know is I was fixing my hair then this road humps got in the way~ T_T So now I have this scar on the right side of my lips.

Being conscious of how I look in front of others as I have been since I had my debut as a lady last year(18 years old in the Philippines), I bought a lip tint the next day! I can't stand to see my lips' uneven color, so I chose a liquid tint. Fortunately, while strolling around SM North Edsa's Department Store - Cosmetics Section, I found Tony Moly in there! And wallah!

I bought Tony Moly Lip tint in Red Apple. It's 2-in-1 such that you can use it both for your lips and cheeks! XD Of course I was ecstatic to use it just to save my uneven lip color.

At least it's even now! :D On another note, life's busy as usual, so I seldom blog and bloghop. I think my Junior year will be toxic yet fun. How's that suppose to happen? we'll see! It's just my hypothesis. LOL! XD

Questions:

  • Have you ever jabbed your lips like this?

  • How was your first weeks of classes?
