Jellybean Goodies

Today I went to SM Megamall with my sister and bought some goodies from Jellybean. Here's a ring I totally liked because of the ladybug, a member of Family Coleoptera, in it! Ever since I became a biologist by heart , I've become attached to things that make me appreciate life at its best. LOL IKR? Too much Biology in my system. XD One more thing that made me buy this is that it fits my finger! You see, I have small fingers that I rarely find a ring which fits me well.♥

I bought another shades! Squircle Shades is the type of sunglasses that complements my somewhat round face. I liked the designs at the side too, so I definitely purchased it!

Both were sold 50% off! So I bought the two for Php300.00 only and saved almost Php299.00. Definitely good buys. :D

Junior Year: First Week!

Before anything else, let me share to you my schedule for this semester. I'm officially a Junior in college! Thinking about it, four years of pre-med is fast enough that the next thing I'd do is to be in Medicine after a couple of years more. :D So there, I have three majors, Hum2 for my GE subject, and Physics.

I was pretty occupied for my first week of classes not really because of academics but because of our preparation for our, UP Manila Biorhythm, performance in Robinson's Place Manila in celebration of Dr. Jose Rizal's 150th birthday. :D It was held last night at Midtown Atrium. I've been part of UPM Biorhythm for a year but it really feels like a family whenever I'm with them. It's like the craziest org I've joined because of the people I'm with! :D For acads, we only had first day orientations; nonetheless, I expect more things to happen in the coming days. It's Junior year anyway, so I really do expect more in this battle. :))

Here are a couple of pictures of Juris, in purple, and I while waiting for our dresses. I used Skinfood's Tomato Jelly Lip Tint #3 again in here. I reviewed this a couple of days ago if you remember. :D

On another note, it was my dad's birthday last June 17. we had a gathering at home and the table was full of scrumptious dishes! My fave dessert, of course, was served -- Mango Bravo from Conti's.

Before The New Schoolyear Begins

We had a little gathering in our favorite "reunion spot" -- Yellowcab, Visayas Avenue. That branch is more on delivery so only a few customers would go there to dine in, and more often than not we are the ones who occupy most of the tables on the second floor! :) (Except for that day coz they won't turn on the 2nd floor's airconditioner, LOL!) So we had the typical HHB (Hati-hati sa Bill), and ate 18" of New York's Finest and pasta.

We were there from 3PM to 8PM  eating, chatting, catching up with one another's lives and all that. We've been classsmates/friends in grade or high school in MMSQC so we get to be really bonded all the time during our stay in our Alma Mater. :) Everything changed in college; nevertheless, we see to it that we can still contact one another even in the midst of college stress! :D Here's a couple of pictures. Unfortunately, we weren't able to take a picture of us being all together! :) Not all of our HS friends were able to come though.

Kennen gave us (Meg, Mae, Dawn and I) a ride home, but then Kennen had this urge to treat us at Starbucks, so we decided to stop over for frappe! :) Thanks to him coz he paid our bills. How generous can this guy get, eh? XD Thanks for that treat, Kennen! Lols. We talked about love and advices, and the usual cheesy stuff! HAHA It was really a cute chat. Nothing beats high school friends' conversations, IMO. :)

At the end of the day, I went home with a smile. I don't usually come with them when there are gatherings in between months of a school year, that's why I definitely came in this gathering coz I'll surely be busy for Junior Year in college. I miss being in high school, for real! :)

SkinFood's Tomato Jelly Lip Tint #1

[caption id="" align="alignnone" width="300" caption="SkinFood Tomato Jelly Lip Tint (#1)"][/caption]

So here's a review of SkinFood's Tomato Jelly Lip Tint. It comes in 3 shades and what I have is #1, which is the darkest shade of all. :D SkinFood's known for having natural ingredients in their cosmetic products and for this, just by its name, one can say that it has tomato as its main ingredient.

It has this fruity scent that makes you want to put more of it on your lips  and even if its the darkest shade, I do think it just leaves a rather natural tint on my lips. It's moisturizing and lasts long for at least 3 hours, but may vary for you. :D

I really love how it makes my lips look so healthy! :D I've been wearing this daily because of its moisturizing properties. The scent brings good vibes as well! :)) Totally a good buy! I bought this in Korea via friend because its original price is cheaper there than here in the Philippines (like a 100% increase in price). :)
